Dr. Marina Rocha joined Candlewood Valley Pediatrics in 2026. She is originally from New Bedford, MA. She graduated summa cum laude from Emmanuel College in Boston, MA in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Health Sciences and a minor in Spanish. She subsequently spent two years working in cerebral organoid research at the Broad Institute of Harvard & MIT in Cambridge, MA, and later completed her medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine in 2023. She completed her pediatric residency training at Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford, CT in 2026.
Dr. Rocha is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. She enjoys taking care of children throughout childhood and adolescence. She lives in New Milford and enjoys gardening, cooking, baking and doing puzzles in her free time.
