Betsy Meyer joined Candlewood Valley Pediatrics in April 2018. She graduated Cum Laude from Western Connecticut State University in 2010, earning a B.A. in Biology with a minor in Psychology. She went on to study at Mercy University in Bronx, New York, where she received her B.S. and M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies in 2014.
Betsy is Board Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is on staff at Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford as well as Nuvance Health in Danbury.
As of 2025, Betsy is a Certified Lactation Counselor for our office. She sees all of our breastfeeding newborns and mothers to support them through this wonderful journey by offering guidance and assistance with any breastfeeding concerns.
Betsy lives in Brookfield with her husband and their three daughters and two sons. She enjoys traveling, beaches, and cooking.
