Dr. Evan Hack started Candlewood Valley Pediatrics with his wife, Dr. Diane D'Isidori, in 1988. He graduated Cum Laude from Washington University in St. Louis with a B.A. in History. He attended Albany Medical College and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Hack completed his Pediatric internship and residency at the Boston Floating Hospital for Infants and Children at Tufts-New England Medical Center.
Dr. Hack is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He enjoys caring for children of all ages, with particular interests in ADHD, learning disorders, children's mental health, nutrition, and obesity prevention and treatment.
Dr. Hack is on staff at Nuvance Health (formerly known as Western Connecticut Health Network) and Connecticut Children's Medical Center and is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University. He has served as the Chief of the Department of Pediatrics at New Milford Hospital and President of the New Milford Hospital Medical Staff. He currently serves as the School Medical Advisor for the New Milford and Sherman Public Schools and is a member of the School Health Committee of the Connecticut Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He also volunteers his time at the New Milford Homeless Shelter and serves on the United Way of Western Connecticut’s Southern Litchfield County Council and on the Board of Directors of the Women’s Center of Greater Danbury.
Dr. Hack lives in New Milford with his wife and has two grown sons. He enjoys skiing, sailing, biking, hiking, cooking, and playing the guitar.
