Flu Clinics – Time to get your vaccination!!
We are holding our “Drive-Through Clinics” again! What that means is, patients receive their shot from a nurse while sitting in their car. Seatbelts stay on!
Here is what we ask of you:
KEEP YOUR CHILD IN THEIR CAR SEAT OR WITH THEIR SEATBELT ON.
DRESS YOUR CHILD FOR ACCESSABILITY. Children less than three should have their thigh accessible; patients older than three should have their shoulder/upper arm accessible.
IF YOUR CHILD IS ANXIOUS ABOUT RECEIVING SHOTS, please have extra hands in the car to hold your child still. The purpose of drive-through clinics is to limit contact between nurse and patient.
Finally, PLEASE FILL OUT THE PAPERWORK PRIOR TO COMING TO THE CLINIC. When the flu clinic appointment is made, you will receive an email confirming the appointment. The email will have a link to that patient’s portal where you will be asked to fill out a permission note for the shot and confirmation of your insurance information.
